Kara Alcorn
Controller

Kara Alcorn serves as Controller of Advanced Solutions, Inc. Prior to joining Advanced Solutions, Kara worked nearly 5 years as Director of Accounting and Franchise Accounting Services at Papa John’s International. In this role, she was responsible for all general accounting functions, lease accounting, and providing full back office accounting support for select franchisees. Prior to this, Kara worked nearly 18 years at United Parcel Service in various management roles.

In her role at Advanced Solutions, Kara is responsible for all accounting and HR functions including month end close and financial statement review, budgeting, order management, billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, sales tax, payroll, Advanced Solutions benefits and 401k administrator.

Kara has her B.A. in Computer Information Systems management from the University of Louisville and completed her Masters of Business Administration at Webster University. She is a Certified Management Accountant.

Kara lives in her hometown of Mount Washington with her two teenage sons.
