Advanced Solutions to Host Complimentary Collaborative Building Management Workshop for Design Professionals

ST. LOUIS, Mo. - October 18, 2011: Autodesk Platinum Partner, Advanced Solutions, will host Collaborative Building Management for Design Professionals on November 2 from 8 a.m. to noon at the Hilton St. Louis Frontenac, located at 1335 South Lindbergh Boulevard. The complimentary workshop will explore the connection between Building Information Modeling (BIM) and efficient project management.

Through the integrated BIM process, architects, engineers, builders and owners have the ability to explore a project's key physical and functional characteristics digitally - before it's built. BIM helps design professionals stay competitive in an increasingly complex business climate by giving them the ability to better predict building outcomes. It enables the creation of more sustainable, accurate designs with fewer errors and less waste, leading to higher profits and more satisfied clients. And, through the delivery of reliable, coordinated building information, project stakeholders can more easily collaborate with team members.

Workshop attendees will learn how to maximize the full capabilities of Autodesk Revit software, collaborate effectively with key project stakeholders, optimize BIM model sharing and move toward Integrated Project Delivery (IPD). The workshop is accredited with the American Institute of Architects for 3.5 CES learning units.
