We are focused on applying engineering with biology to create new tools that enable our customers to radically improve and increase human health. We are humbled everyday to have the opportunity to work with some of the smartest scientists and engineers the world has ever seen. The patented and UL cGMP certified BioAssemblyBots are intelligent agile robotic platforms used to build and assemble biological structures. More than a 3D printer, BioAssemblyBots leverage over 60 years of industrial robotic innovation to bring speed, quality, high precision and low-cost manufacturing to the task of building tissues and organs. Angiomics is a vascularization platform involving isolates of adipose-derived microvessels, which contain all vascular types maintained in the native microvessel structure.

Today, these platforms are used around the globe to produce tissue models for drug discovery, personalized medicine, cancer research, high-throughput assays and regenerative therapeutics. As the world's leading biofabrication company, Advanced Solutions enables some of the most well-known global healthcare brands such as Merck, Sanofi, Medtronic, and Johnson & Johnson to innovate their science.

Advanced Solutions Life Sciences is a subsidiary of 34-year-old Advanced Solutions, Inc. (ASI) and is headquartered within a 15,000 square foot facility in Louisville, Kentucky. In addition to it serving as the central office, the ASI facility houses the primary engineering teams comprised of systems engineers, software engineers, mechanical engineers, simulation engineers, electrical engineers, and bioengineers. Projects are assigned a specific team of engineers based on the expertise needed from this large collection of engineers and technical professionals. Advanced Solutions has a fully equipped engineering and manufacturing laboratory, a software design facility, and biological research laboratories. Additionally, Advanced Solutions has advanced manufacturing tools, including a variety of thermoplastic 3D printers.

Advanced Solutions has customers around the world and is continuing to expand globally in emerging markets. The company has more than 50 employees, in offices across the United States, and is growing rapidly.

Our Perspective: Biofabrication in a Changing World

1)

We live in the greatest time in human history.

Exponential advancements in biology and intelligent automation have progressed to the level that we now can drastically improve our ability to solve some of the most difficult disease and damaged organs that have relentlessly plagued humanity.

2)

The BioAssemblyBot is a profound & positive platform which brings agile, intelligent automation to some of the brightest scientists and clinicians.

Enabling new advances in science for therapeutics with a focus on curative solutions for diseased or damaged human tissues. This technology is designed to accelerate benchtop-to-bedside development of regenerative medicine therapies.

3)

The biggest challenge facing tissue engineers today is the difficulty of building a robust, adaptable, and perfusable vasculature to nourish living tissue.

Angiomics gives users the ability to incorporate a dynamic, native vascular system in their fabrication strategy to build prevascularized 3D tissues and tissue products.

UL Certified Badge

The Advanced Solutions Louisville, KY facility has been audited by UL Registrar LLC and meets GMP requirements listed in RCP, NBCP, or Pharmaceutical Certification Schemes which is uniquely accredited by the American National Standard Institute (ANSI) developed in accordance with applicable sections of the FDA’s code of federal regulations.
